Post the originals
Required for notarization · Required for BOCA authentication

If your documents need notarization or authentication by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, we need the paper originals, because the notary or authority must inspect them in person. Please confirm the quote with us before posting anything, to keep the risk to your originals low.

  • Use registered or prompt registered mail and keep the tracking number
  • Include a note with your name, phone number and what you need
  • We return everything by registered mail when finished, or you can collect it
  • For important originals, consider insured mail

Courier pickup and return
Pickup anywhere in Taiwan · Returned the same way · Ideal if getting around is hard

We work with major couriers (T-cat, HCT, Kerry TJ and others) to collect your documents from your door and send them back when the translation is done — no need to leave home. For anyone with limited mobility, older clients or people outside the area, this is the easiest way to order.

  • Courier costs are charged at cost and itemized on your invoice, with no markup
  • Please confirm the order and pay first; then we’ll book a pickup date and time
  • Choose an insured service, especially for originals that can’t be reissued
  • You can pick a morning or afternoon slot — please keep your phone on

Notarized translations need the paper originals
What people usually call a “notarized translation” in Taiwan is, in practice, a certification of the translation by a court notary office or a private notary. Many clients assume an electronic copy is enough. In fact, the notary is required by law to inspect the original, so we need the paper document. Send us a scan for a quote first, and post the original only after you’ve confirmed the quote and paid — this keeps the risk of losing your original low.
The full process

From first question to finished translation, in five steps

We check in with you at every step, so you always know where your documents are.

01
Send a scan for a quote
Send a clear scan, photo or PDF of your documents by email or LINE. Tell us the target language, the purpose (e.g. immigration, university admission) and when you need it.
An electronic copy is fine — no need to post originals yet
02
Get your quote and confirm
Within 2 hours (working days) we send a full quote covering translation, notary fees (if needed) and rush fees (if needed). Check every line before you confirm — there are no hidden charges.
The quote covers every fee — nothing added later
03
Pay and send your documents
Once you confirm, pay by bank transfer or card. At the same time, choose how to send your documents: for ordinary documents we can start from the electronic copy; for notarized ones, post the originals now.
Bank transfer, credit card or LINE Pay
04
Translation, plus notarization if needed
Ordinary documents: 2–3 working days. If notarization is needed, we take the finished translation to the notary’s office (about 2 working days); BOCA authentication adds another 3 working days.
Fastest rush: 1 day ordinary / 2 days notarized / 3 days with BOCA authentication
05
Delivery: email, post or collection
We email you the PDF, or return the paper copies (with your originals) by registered mail; you can also book a time to collect them. If you have any questions after receiving them, let us know within 7 days.
✓ If a document is rejected because of a translation error, we re-translate it free of charge
Before you send

Check these before you send

Having everything ready avoids back-and-forth and gets your translation done sooner.

Ordinary translation Electronic copy is fine

  • A scan of the document (PDF or high-resolution image)
  • Target language (e.g. Chinese to English)
  • Purpose (study, business, immigration, etc.)
  • When you need it
  • Any required terminology or format (if applicable)

Notarized translation Originals required

  • Send a scan first and confirm the quote
  • Post the originals after paying (registered mail recommended)
  • Tell us where it will be used: which country or institution
  • Whether you need BOCA authentication or embassy legalization
  • Check the required format and level of certification with the receiving office first
  • How you’d like your originals returned (post or collection)

Scan quality Quality tips

  • Text is clear, with nothing blurred or covered
  • 300 dpi or higher recommended
  • The whole page is in frame, with no corners cut off
  • If using a phone, turn off the flash and use good light
  • Scan both sides of double-sided documents

About fees Transparent pricing

  • The quote includes translation plus every additional fee
  • Rush jobs carry a rush fee, quoted by volume and deadline
  • Notary fees are statutory and depend on the language and number of copies (Judicial Yuan fee schedule, in Chinese)
  • BOCA authentication fees are separate (Bureau of Consular Affairs information, in Chinese)
  • Registered postage is charged separately
  • Once you confirm the quote, the price is fixed; if the order changes, we’ll confirm with you again
How we handle your documents
Your documents are used only for the translation work. Every translator we work with has signed a confidentiality agreement, and we never use your documents for AI training or any other purpose. When the job is done, we destroy or return the originals as you instruct. If you need us to sign an NDA, just ask.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can’t find your answer? Ask us any time on LINE or by email.

No. We handle notarization for you: just post us the originals, and we’ll take them to the notary’s office we work with and send the complete set back to you. No need to take a day off.
We offer a rush service. Ordinary documents that don’t need notarization can be done in as little as 1 working day; notarized documents in 2 working days; with BOCA authentication as well, 3 working days. Actual timing depends on the number of documents and their length, and rush jobs carry a rush fee — please tell us your deadline when you ask for a quote. Notary offices and government authorities work on their own schedules, which can slip around long holidays or busy periods.
No. Our quotes list every fee up front — translation, notary fees, handling and postage — and once you confirm, the price is fixed. The only time it can change is if you add more documents later or ask for an earlier delivery (rush fee).
If the rejection is because of a translation error on our part, we will re-translate and re-notarize free of charge. Keep the rejection notice and contact us within 7 days of receiving it, explaining the reason, and we’ll prioritize it. Note: if the rejection is because the authority requires a different format (not a translation error), we’ll discuss how to handle it with you.
Not necessarily. Authentication by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Taiwan’s overseas missions certifies only the formal validity of a document; its content, legal effect and whether it meets the application requirements are still decided by the receiving institution. Requirements also vary between governments, schools and immigration authorities, so we recommend checking with the receiving office which form of translation and certification it needs before you order. We’ll then follow those requirements.
Yes. Modern phone cameras are clear enough: as long as the light is good, the photo is in focus and the document lies flat (not folded), it’s usually fine for both quoting and translation. Turn off the flash and use daylight or indoor lighting. Notarized translations still need the paper originals by post, but a phone photo is fine for the quote.
Yes. We translate between Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean and other languages — around 25 in total. If your document is in a less common language, send us a scan first and we’ll check whether we have a suitable translator.
